This app will help you to improve your knowledge of the german nouns. The app is free but limited to 50 words. You can buy another 5000 common words directly inside the app. The advanced statistical filtering makes sure you dont have to practice the words you already know.

Lacking a basic feature
I am just learning German; the app only shows the German word and wants you to select Der, Die, or Das. Having the English translation show along with it would rate a 4-star app. As it stands now the app is pretty much useless. Nice user interface, though. Adding English (and even possibly a definition) would make this a very useful app.

Best German Article Trainer
This is the best tool I have found for learning German articles/gender. I highly recommend it to anyone who knows enough German to realize how important the article is. I purchased the 4000 word upgrade and am very satisfied. My only wish is that it offered greater customizability in selecting which words are selected for quizzes; however, there is no better alternative.
